Hillary Clinton’s chief spokesman P.J. Crowley has resigned abruptly after a blogger quoted him candidly criticizing the “mistreatment” of alleged Wikileaks whistleblower Bradley Manning as “ridiculous and counterproductive and stupid.” This evidently pissed off the White House because it let Jake Tapper ask Obama an embarrassing question about Manning at a press conference. Crowley is out amid “pressure from White House officials because of controversial comments he made last week about the Bradley Manning case,” according to CNN.

One Response to “State Department Spokesman Resigns After Criticizing Treatment of Alleged Wikileaks Whistleblower”

But do we know for sure that he was pressured out? He just simply may have used my famous quote “Take this job and shove it up …..” I use that quote even in my dreams. He might have done what I did, and that was to get a friend to snap me sitting on a photocopier with my knickers around my ankles and pushing the ‘start button’, turn it into a card with the words “I Quit” inside.
