So, the US DoD promotes a pretext to extradite Julian Assange to Sweden: Google News headline: “Investigators Still Can’t Find Any Evidence To Link Assange & Manning; DoD Insists It Must Be True.”
If Julian Assange is extradited to Sweden, the the US would say: “Investigators Already Can Find Any Evidence To Link Assange & Manning; DoD Insists It Is True,” whereas fabricating a bunch of various non-existant reasons.
In other words, if they really wanted to charge him right now, they would have enough power to fabricate a chat conversation that never took place, and claim it was found on some computer somewhere.
They are not doing so, because the UK does not extradite people to countries where death penalty is anticipated, whereas Sweden probably does.
